Dean and Buda Family Chiropractic have made a huge difference for my
family. I would hate to think of what
might have happened to me without chiropractic.
Now practically my whole family, including my two young grandsons, has
all been under care. My mother-in-law
previously could barely walk, and she had a huge success in just a few short

I tried to get some help, but from the start I
was skeptical of the options I was given.
I was told to take pain medication, and I don’t go that route, so then I
was given a steroid injection. The
relief from that lasted all of three days, so I had no intentions of doing that
again. I knew the next thing the doc’s
would want to try is surgery, and from previous experience I knew that you
never end up with anything near as good as what you started out with. So instead I took ibuprofen nearly every day,
a lot of times at night, too, and just kind of lived with it. Friends would suggest I go and see a
chiropractor, but I had tried that 43 years ago and didn’t much care for it, so
I resisted. But then I saw one of these
yellow letters and I was impressed—I figured it was at least worth a try. I
decided to go and check out this Buda Family Chiropractic, and if I didn’t like
it, I would just leave.
I was
really impressed right from the get go with the practice. Dr. Dean Rushing, the clinic director of Buda
Family Chiropractic, really knew what he was talking about and had some new
treatments I had never even heard of to take care of the pain I’d been
suffering with for so long. He took
x-rays and created a treatment plan combining a new technology called spinal
decompression, deep muscle stretching and chiropractic adjustments. I thought, ‘Well, I can try this and see.’
I’ve been real pleased with the treatments I
received at Buda Family Chiropractic.
The spinal decompression machine uses gentle pulling to get a deep
stretch that feels real good, and Dr. Rushing explained to me that it actually
repairs the injury. All I know is I feel
a lot better!
I’d highly recommend Dr. Rushing and his clinic
to anyone suffering from the aches and pains that come with life. They do a very professional job from the
start, and have all kinds of treatment programs to help all kinds of people
with all kinds of problems. The whole
staff is very friendly and genuinely interested in helping people get
better. I hope this helps someone else
as much as that first yellow letter helped me.

My name is Wally and have I got a story for you!
If you’ve ever been told that you’re just getting older, or you just have to
live with your aches and pains, or that surgery is your only option, then my
story just might be the light at the end of your tunnel. I’m living proof that pain is not a ‘normal’
part of getting older!
At
57 years old, I’ve seen it all and been through a lot. I’ve been in the army,
and I’ve worked on oil rigs all over the world.
You might say I’ve had some physical challenges along the way. Frankly, I thank God every night because I’m
lucky just to be here! Some of the
“highlights” of my life experiences include being rushed to the hospital after
a boxful of fireworks nearly blew my leg off.
On another occasion, I was blown 25 feet in the air in an oil rig
accident. I was airlifted to the
hospital for surgery on my legs and back, and had two vertebrae fused. I was extremely lucky I wasn’t killed in
either accident. But this is where my
story begins…
Needless to say, my explosive
past left me with all sorts of chronic pain.
The worst of my problems were intense migraines, painful acid reflux,
and severe neck pain. I also developed
intense joint pain in my left shoulder, which progressively got worse as time
went on. My back was the worst, though- I could barely even move without
excruciating pain ripping down my back, and I actually had to start walking
with a cane.
For years and years I have been
to more doctors than I can count, with little results. In fact, over the years
my condition has steadily worsened. The
only solution my doctors could offer was drugs, drugs and more drugs. At one point they had me on eleven different prescriptions,
including the strongest narcotics you can get.
I was literally a walking zombie for years!! The situation became even worse
when I became hooked on the meds. I had to go through extensive rehab to break
the addiction… It may have been the
lowest point in my entire life. But when
I got out of rehab the doctor’s still offered me no hope, only more medication and shots. To make matters worse, I had now lost
complete
use
of my left arm due to the pain; I
literally
could not use or move it at all!
My wife and I had almost
completely lost hope when we saw an ad for Buda Family Chiropractic. Dr. Dean
was doing exams and x-rays for only $17. My wife thought we should give it a
try, and at that point, what did I have to lose?
Long story short…
Incredibly, three short months later almost all of my pain is gone! My low back
and neck pain are completely gone!! The migraines that plagued me for eight
long years are gone!! I can move around better than I have in years and no longer need my cane to walk!! I never knew chiropractic could do such
things, but Dr. Dean and the wonderful staff at Buda Family Chiropractic made
me a believer. Chiropractic has
literally made the difference for me.
The care I have received has been at a very reasonable fee, and it’s truly
been one of the most valuable experiences of my entire life.
I recently went to see my long-time doctor one
last time for a follow-up. I walked in
with a huge smile, “I’m pain free!” I said, “Chiropractic did this—I feel
great!!!” He said he didn’t believe me, so I began to turn my left arm round
and round in a giant circle. I’ll never
forget the look on his face as long as I live—eyes big, jaw dropped to the
floor, utter amazement written all over his face. “I can’t believe it!” he gasped. “Believe it, Doc’ I said, “Chiropractic did
what no pain medicine could ever do—it gave me my life back!” These days that’s
what I tell everyone I meet. Maybe
you’re thinking ‘it’s just too good to be true’—I don’t blame you, if I hadn’t
lived it I might not believe it myself.
But lucky for me, I gave it a shot, and I’m so glad I did! If you’re in
pain, you have to give Dr. Dean and Buda Family Chiropractic a try!

Believe it or not, just one treatment with the cold laser really helped my heel pain. The whole rest of the day I was just scooting along, feeling like ‘I’m healed! I’m healed!

I used to have
really bad range of motion, I could only turn my neck so far and then I would
get dizzy. I think it’s because I’m on the phone a lot at work, and holding the
phone between my ear and my shoulder aggravates my neck. I’ve
struggled with this for two years! After just one treatment of the cold laser
at Buda Family Chiropractic, I could turn my head much further—with no dizziness!
My headaches improved, too!
